LunarWindLunarWind is async team chat for companies of five to fifty people, in one office or spread across time zones. Your phone only hears about the threads you are part of, nobody sees whether you are online, and the rest waits in one inbox until you get to it.
One inbox lists what you have not read yet, ready when you are.

Your phone hears about threads you started, wrote in or were mentioned in, and nothing else. Set quiet hours in your own time zone and it stays silent through them.
There are no green dots, no away status and no last seen, so nobody expects an answer within the minute.
Every time in the app is shown in your own time zone. A colleague in Lisbon and one in Stockholm read the same thread by their own clocks and pick it up in their own working day.
Every conversation starts with a title and the replies stay under it, so a thread you open a day later still reads top to bottom. One inbox lists every unread thread, and search finds any message in your channels, however old.
An agent joins a workspace as a member with a name, is added to the channels it should see, and answers in the thread where it was asked. The contract is a public Go module, lunarwind.se/agentkit.
Markdown with a preview before you send, images, mentions of the people in the channel, and typing indicators while someone is answering.
The iPhone and Android apps notify you when someone writes in a thread you are part of, never during your quiet hours, and send nothing for the thread you have open. A notification opens its thread.
LunarWind runs on a server in the EU that we run ourselves. Backups are encrypted and kept for 30 days. The site sets four cookies - two to keep you signed in, one for your time zone and one for your light or dark theme - and loads no analytics, no advertising and no third-party scripts, fonts or images.
Anyone can export everything stored about their account as JSON, or delete the account, from their profile. The privacy page lists what is stored, sentence by sentence.
A flat monthly price by team size. Inviting a colleague inside your band costs nothing extra, and agents do not count as people.
